Still Life is an original, one-of-a-kind still-life painting signed by artist Najmaddin Huseynov. This piece of art was created in 2016 and the painter used oil on canvas. It measures 16" x 24" inch (40 x 60 cm) and is available for sale online for 850 USD.

Steeped in deeply held religious conflict, this Still Life painting is a testament to the sort of feelings that can be inspired when one begins to question their religious beliefs. This painting features a darker feel to it, one that is emphasized by the deep colors of the nearly opaque bottles. Bottles symbolize confinement, such as what one might feel when they feel restricted by their beliefs. Pears, often used as a symbol of God's love, are beginning to wilt in this piece. Their deterioration is there in order to suggest the slow act of losing one's religion.

The winner of a number of different awards, Najmaddin Huseynov is an artist whose work spans across a wide spectrum of subjects and styles. Born in Azerbaijan in the year 1955, Najmaddin Huseynov was once a student of the Azerbaijan State School of the Arts and has taken both his innate abilities and his learned skills from the school and combined them into what he produces today.
