Cinta Andina is an original, large one-of-a-kind nude painting signed by artist Jose De La Barra. This piece of art was created in 2013 and the painter used oil on canvas. It measures 41" x 41" inch (104 x 104 cm) and is available for sale online for 4500 USD.
THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
In the Cinta Andina Painting, the partial nude forms of three different women can be seen. To the left of the painting is a woman with fiery red hair, the leaves as vibrant as her hair. Her body is cut off halfway through at the center. In the middle of the painting, there is another half of a woman with brunette hair whose upper body has been cast in a white color. Finally, on the right side of the painting is another partial figure of a woman who has auburn hair and has part of her body covered by a red leaf.
GETTING TO KNOW JOSE DE LA BARRA
Born in Peru in 1956, Jose De La Barra is an artist who specializes in surrealistic art. He has won several prizes for is work and has had his work in many exhibits in Peru and in New York, United States of America. He went to the Fine Arts Autonomous Superior School located in Lima, Peru. There, he studied murals, illustration and painting.
