THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
In The Apple Sindrom 04 painting, a woman appears to be sitting forlornly against a wall. She is colored in with somber hues of blue and gray interspersed with bits of tan and brown. Her posture, which is slightly slumped over and making the nude woman feel defeated, seems to speak of regret or of shame. There is a vivid green apple sitting to the left of her. This appears to be symbolic of the story of Adam and Eve from the Bible and seems to embody the feeling of remorse that one might feel after succumbing to temptation.
