THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
The Hands on My Ear Painting showcases a nude woman who is sitting facing away from the camera. Her torso is twisted a bit to where her back, thighs and one of her breasts can still be seen. Using long brushstrokes and colors that effortlessly contrast one another, the artist has shown a woman with a hand on her head, covering up her ear with her elbow resting against her knee. Colors included in this photo are black, gray, yellow, tan and orange. The background is nearly the same color as the woman with only vague outlines separating the two.
