THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
Cobbled, sectioned off, squared stones make up a beautifully arching bridge in the Old Bridge in Vayk Painting. This painting features a thick, prominent river making its way from the foreground of the painting to its background, going beneath the bridge itself. People and animals walk along the path that is forged by the bridge, a path that is dusty and tan. Contrasting the tan color are vibrant shades of green and oranges that rest on either side of the riverbed. These colors compose tall slender trees and short stocky bushes that reside amongst the boulders.
