THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
A mountainous scene appears in the Houses in Vayk Painting. This piece of art offers viewers a sprawling scene of mountains that are of varying heights and textures. In the foreground, an ultra sharp peak rises from the Earth, while in the background, several flattened and more rounded ranges make up the backdrop. In the foreground to the right of the painting is also a steep cliff with a winding path that leads up its side. Along the partially fenced path, a selection of different houses can be seen, cast in different shades of either white or tan colors.
