THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
When a person imagines autumn, immediately the colors of this brilliant season come to mind. The Autumn Landscape Painting captures the hues of fall beautifully and incorporates them into every part of the painting instead of simply depicting trees with autumn leaves. The painting features trunks of trees of varying lengths and heights, most of which run off the canvas, leaving out their leafy canopies. There is a path that is winding through the forest toward the top of the medium, and even this path has been cast in the warm and inviting colors reminiscent of an autumn afternoon.
GETTING TO KNOW A. ROY
A. Roy takes his inspiration from artists all across the board, bringing in little bits and pieces of what he loves about each one and incorporating them into each of his works. Born in Bengal, Krishnagar, Roy has moved a lot throughout his life and has taken his cues from the colors, the landscapes and the life that he has witnessed throughout his journeys. This becomes evident when you look at his natural scenes full of serene waters, sprawling mountaintops, pleasant forests and tranquil fields.
