THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
Peonies are a flower that represents abundance and a fruitful marriage, and the Peonies Painting pictured here captures the essence of that effortlessly. The bouquet of peonies overflows from the vase, suggesting a marriage bountiful and rich with love. Their lush, full blooms in beautiful, delicate pastels symbolize the tenderness of the love found within a happy marriage, and the gentle, short brushstrokes further that softness. Known as the flower for a 12th wedding anniversary, this painting full of peonies would serve as an excellent gift for a newlywed couple as an omen of good fortune or for an established couple as a token of your love and respect for them.
