THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
This piece of art truly represents the complexity of the artist’s vision and talent. The painting visualizes a personal experience of Montmartre, one of the most colourful neighbourhoods of Paris, that has captivated Bohemian artists and continues to delight tourists to this day. This iconic hilltop neighborhood’s striped awnings and cobblestone streets are the reason Montmartre is always bustling with life. A fierce emotion comes through the canvas to describe this district full of authentic charm, with intense hues and varied tones. The artist's brushwork is smooth and studied. His style is expressive, showing that he aims to truthfully show the beauty with each stroke of his brush.
