In Springtime, nature boasts its beauty in a thousand shapes and colors. With the first signs of fresh new life in the street and park, this painting is a representation of such an early Spring in one of the most beautiful European cities, Kiev. The sky is colourful, marking the beginning of a new season, while people are busy walking and a church, along with a historical building are the central point of the painting, as in many other works by the artist Sergey Rybak. This is a brilliantly captured moment of just one part of the city, before the trees put on their new leaves and flowers begin to bloom.

A member of the National Union of Young Ukranian Artists, as well as a graduate of the Odesse High School of Arts and the Kylv National Art Academy, Sergey Rybak is a Russian artist who was born in the year 1950. Residing currently in Ukraine, Sergey Rybak has had his art exhibited all around the world from everywhere from the Ukraine to the United States of America. Sergey Rybak uses a lot of bright colors in his work, using darker tones of gray and black only as a way to emphasize the rest of the colors in his work.
