THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
The unique feel of the old world comes through in this city, made real through the discreet use of murky colours, accompanied by grey and orange details. The weather is not sunny, nor is it too cold, but the smoky chimneys tell us winter is about to set in for the season. The dark scene, with its dust and smoke, hides the true beauty of the old buildings and streets, almost as if announcing the end of something or hailing bad news around the corner. Through the dusty and cloudy scene, you can see neverending details towards the middle of the piece, grabbing your attention and clearing your sight.
