What a sight. A city street where the lights turned on just moments ago and the remains of the day officially begin. Every shop adds light and color, trying to lure unexpecting strollers into its offerings, as people enjoy their evening walk or return from their jobs, wanting for the warmth of home. Walking down the pedestrian street on a winter evening, just after a day of light snowfall, passers by almost fail to notice the church steeple raised in the distance. If we raise our glance, the tower suddenly becomes the focal point of this community. The viewer feels like there might be something just around that corner and wants to pick up the pace to get there a little quicker. Perhaps home is just around that corner, with a burning fireplace and warm cup of tea waiting.
