Horses are thought to be regal and noble creatures. They stand tall and powerful with their long legs and sturdy muscles, often walking with a graceful gait and a sense of purpose. The horses in the Pradera DiAFana painting are all of a different color; some are auburn in hue while others are a pristine white color. Often a symbol of strength and freedom, these horses are all set in motion toward a common goal. Their muscles have been clearly defined with purposeful brush strokes that accentuate the strength and concrete character of these majestic animals in the wild.

Born in Cuzco in the year 1967, Adolfo Ccolque Taipe is an artist who spent his early childhood finding what he loved about art and chose to draw until around junior high school age. Once he was in junior high, he began to create landscape pieces. Eventually, he discovered his love of painting at around the age of 20.
