THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
Horses are thought to be regal and noble creatures. They stand tall and powerful with their long legs and sturdy muscles, often walking with a graceful gait and a sense of purpose. The horses in the Pradera DiAFana painting are all of a different color; some are auburn in hue while others are a pristine white color. Often a symbol of strength and freedom, these horses are all set in motion toward a common goal. Their muscles have been clearly defined with purposeful brush strokes that accentuate the strength and concrete character of these majestic animals in the wild.
