THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
The horses in motion on the Angelus painting seem to be heading toward a goal with determination in their step. Two of the horses are white, which often conveys a sense of power and wisdom, while the other horse is a standard auburn color. Horses are a symbol of liberation, and the three of them running together seems to show that freedom to live authentically can only be achieved through honesty and knowledge of oneself. The horses stroll against a calming pink and purple sunrise, speaking to the tranquility that can be achieved when being true to oneself.
