THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
In the Colour of Music painting, a ram lays lazily inside of a small room. On his head is a pair of red headphones as he lies there listening to his melodies. The ram, often a symbol of direct action, taking initiative and being determined, seems subdued by the relaxing tunes. Part of his body is resting against a wall painted red, while the other part of his body is resting against a blue wall. The red colour, both on the wall and on the headphones, symbolizes his passion for music; the blue colour he is also laying on symbolizes the calmness and tranquility derived from music as well.
