THOUGHTS ON PAINTING
The large fish depicted in the Fish painting seems to be far out of his element; he is floating large and prominent in a room inside of an old house, towering well over common household items such as the chair that can be seen to the left. The fish dons of a number of different soft and stark colors alike, ranging from red, blue, white, green and yellow. The colors in this piece seem to symbolize the array of emotions within a person, and the distraught expression on his face speaks to the struggle that it is to manage them.
