Born in the year 1981, Vitalii Pityk is an artist that hails from the Vinnytsia region in Trostyanets. He has been a part of a number of different exhibitions in Ukraine, as well as many international painting contests. He has also studied among one of the most famous painters in his region, giving him plenty of power behind his technique and helping him to hone in on his innate talent. Pieces by Vitalii Pityk can be found in Ukrainian galleries, as well as international galleries and private collections alike.
This artist works best outdoors in the open air, and his beautiful pieces that surround nature are a testament to this. Vitalii Pityk is excellent at depicting lighting in various locations throughout his natural landscape pieces. The artist manages to easily capture the way the sun reflects off of trees, water and roadways differently throughout the different seasons: winter pieces look like faint, whitish light; autumn pieces have a more pastel, warm, glow; summer speaks of golden hues and the pictures of springtime gardens have just the right amount of shade.
A lot of his work, whether it be still life paintings or natural landscape pieces, use subdued and earthy colors. This helps to bring the painting to life in a realistic way even though his brushstrokes are often large and apparent, giving the paintings a more artistic and unique look. Common colors in the works of Vitalii Pityk include browns, greens, golds, pinks, yellows and blues.
