Anna Kerashvili is an artist who uses her own unique style in perfect harmony with the techniques and skills she was taught in school. In 2009, she received her Bachelor's degree from the Tbilisi Academy of Arts in Wood and Furniture Design. In the year 2011, she got her Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the same school, this time getting her degree in painting. It is with this degree that she has blossomed into her own unique style of creation, producing pieces that have since been used in a number of different galleries.
She has been a part of different exhibitions, both group and solo, between the years 2001 and 2012. During these years she has created pieces that inspire thought in many. Her work is largely abstract and semi-abstract, using blended brushstrokes and rather chaotic appearances to evoke emotion in those who view her work. She does, sometimes, veer off into painting nude paintings of women, though only a few have outlines of familiar feminine shapes; the rest fall into the realm of her abstract pieces and give the viewer more to admire and ponder over.
There are often no definitive lines to her paintings with Anna Kerashvili instead choosing to use color to convey the messages and symbolism in her paintings. Anna Kerashvili often uses a lot of red in her work, evoking a passionate appearance. There are also cool tones of blue and gray that are often found as well for a nice balance.
