Irina O was born in the year 1961 to the city of Kharkov, Ukraine. She has been a part of many exhibitions and art competitions, even in her early childhood. Irina O graduated from the Repin Art School in Ukraine in the year 1977, and since went on to work with both art and architecture in the years that followed. Her love of painting never left her, no matter where her professional life took her; to this day, she still spends all of her free time painting as often as she can.
With the goal of showcasing the vibrancy and beauty of life in every painting she creates, Irina O seems to focus on different natural beauties to be found in the world around her. Her work largely centers on still life imagery, mainly highlighting pictures of flowers both growing in the wild and in vases. Sometimes she will paint classic still life images, including fruit in bowls and in baskets. Usually, Irina O paints flower bouquets in numerous colors, but there are also instances of singular flowers that make a powerful and colorful statement all on their own. A prominent fixture in her floral paintings is a single rose or a bouquet of them. Because the natural world she paints is so vast in its color, there is not one singular color that Irina O commonly utilizes. The most prominent colors an observer of Irina O's art might notice are pinks, yellows, reds and oranges.
